About Us
Sidila.com is a marketplace where members buy, sell or trade items they have, for what they really need. The idea was born out of frustration from losing money on auctions. Since there was a fee for listing each item and a fee for uploading multiple pictures, a fee for bold headlines, a fee for 10-day listings, and a fee for breathing (ok, so there wasn't a fee for breathing), we were up a creek before our auction even started! Then when our auctions ran, we held our breaths as the low bids trickled in. Seriously, who needs that? There had to be a better way... that's why we created Sidila!
On Sidila, all regular priority listings are FREE. All durations for listings are FREE. Bold headline, color background and yes, even breathing is FREE, FREE, FREE. You pay a fee when you complete a sale or Trade (Yes Trade). Sidila allows you to list your items for sale, sale or trade or for trade only. You can trade any item for any other item as long as the owner agrees to the trade and the value of the items are within 40% of each other (we like fair trade around here).
We've all seen those ads for auctions where the bidder with the big smile says "I got this laptop for $130!" Great for you, but what about the owner who put the $1400 laptop up for auction and got $130 for it? If it had been traded on Sidila for something worth $1400, there wouldn't be a loser.
