How to Use Sidila.com



Sidila.com is a friendly, safe marketplace where you can buy, sell or trade what you have, for what you really need. Using Sidila.com is really simple. There are three basic operations; Buying, Selling and Trading:

How to buy items on Sidila.com

  1. Go to www.sidila.com and Sign in. If you are new to Sidila.com, click the Register link to create a new account. You will be asked to enter information such as your name, gender, billing address and shipping address.
  2. Click on the desired category from the list of categories on the left side of the screen. A menu of items will be displayed.
  3. Click on the name of the item you wish to purchase. If there's an inventory available for sale, the listings will be displayed (if none is available, you will be notified).
  4. Look at each listing to see which appeals to you. To see the details and pictures for a listing, click the title.
  5. If you have questions about the item, communicate with the seller/trader through their mailbox number to get answers.


    6. To email a seller/trader:
        (a) Note the mailbox number of the seller/trader (next to their feedback rating)
        (b) Click the My Trades tab and select the Email a Member option.
        (c) Enter the mailbox number, a subject and your questions and click the Send button.

  6. When you are ready to make a purchase, click the Buy Me button to begin the checkout process.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your payment information when prompted, to complete the checkout process. Transaction fees will be applied. For a complete list of our fees, please click here. It is also available by clicking the More tab and selecting Fees.

How to sell items on Sidila.com

Note: before listing items for sale, make sure you have all the information and photos (jpg files only) of the items on your computer, ready to go.

  1. Go to www.sidila.com and Sign in. If you are new to Sidila.com, click on the Register link to create a new account. You will be asked to enter information such as your name, gender, billing address and shipping address.
  2. Click on the My Listings tab and select the List Items For Sale/Trade option. A list of categories will be displayed.
  3. Click on the appropriate category from the list. A menu of items is now displayed.
  4. Click on the name of the item you wish to list for sale. A form is now displayed for you to fill in with information describing the item you have for sale. If you wish to only sell the item, select the FOR SALE ONLY option.
  5. Finish filling in the displayed form and click the Submit button. You will then be asked to upload your photos of the item. BE SURE TO UPLOAD ALL THE PHOTOS OF THE ITEM YOU WANT DISPLAYED. All regular priority listings are free. For medium and top priority listings, transaction fees will be applied. To see a complete list of our fees, please click here. How to trade items on Sidila.com

Note: before listing your items for trade, make sure you have all the information and photos of the items on your computer, ready to go.

    Sign in or Register

  1. Go to www.sidila.com and Sign in. If you are new to Sidila.com, click on the Register link to create a new account. You will be asked to enter information such as your name, gender, billing address and shipping address.

    List your items for trade

  2. Click on the My Listings tab and select the List Items For Sale/Trade option. A list of categories will be displayed.
  3. Click on the appropriate category from the list. A menu of items is now displayed.
  4. Click on the name of the item you wish to list for trade. A form is now displayed for you to fill in with information describing the item you have for trade. If you only wish to trade the item, select the FOR TRADE ONLY option. To either sell or trade it, select the FOR TRADE OR SALE option.
  5. Finish filling in the displayed form and click the Submit button. You will then be asked to upload your photos of the item. BE SURE TO UPLOAD ALL THE PHOTOS OF THE ITEM YOU WANT DISPLAYED. After completing the listing process, transaction fees will be applied. To see a complete list of our fees, please click here. It is also available by clicking the More tab and selecting Fees.


    6. List the items you would like to receive

  6. Click on the My Listings tab and select the Add to My Wish List option. A list of categories will be displayed.
  7. Click on the appropriate category from the list. A menu of items is now displayed.
  8. Click on the name of the item you want to add to your wish list. A form is now displayed for you to fill in with information describing the item.
  9. Finish filling in the displayed form and click the Submit button.


    10. Automatic Matches

    After listing your items for trade, Sidila will automatically search the database to locate members who are looking for the items you have for trade and who have items that you want to receive. When they are found, you are notified by email, and given a trade reference number. Using the trade reference number, you may find listings of the items you will potentially receive in return for your trade items. You may then:

    (1) Email your trading partner with questions about the items
    (2) Reject the trade because it doesn't fit your needs
    (3) Accept and complete the trade
